MusicTools LLC, Brian Bennett, President

MusicTools LLC has the potential to grow into a large company.  There has been  over 20,000 man hours invested into the company and the software.  We have a beta application with great progress.

We've currently been looking for more programmers, primarily a user interface specialist.  With the economy downturn and layoffs, we've found that there's great talent available.  We've attracted talented people and we aim to hire the best.  This appears to be the perfect time for putting an exceptional team together.

A Gallup Poll says, "...according to...NAMM, the International Music Products Association, 95% of Americans consider music to be part of a well-rounded education.  79% even say that music education should be mandated for every student in school."  MusicTools can help by giving teachers low maitainance software that's powerful and fun for kids.  We foresee our software being in the hands of millions of people.  That is not something we take lightly and so we strive to be leaders in creating fun and easy software that works flawlessly.

Having reviewed Brian Bennett's [software], I believe

Brian is working on an idea that has a great deal of artistic and

commercial potential. In addition to being a remarkably comprehensive

and fascinating resource for intermediate to advanced composers,

[the software] shows great promise as a mass-market

compositional aid for musicians and non-musicians alike. In addition,

Brian has implemented a surprisingly forward-looking set of music

notation tools that are targeted to filling a void that exists in the

market today: a user-friendly, yet comprehensive set of tools. Among

the many applications of the software, one that I think has great

appeal is [proprietary information] and other musical

elements of their arrangements. I've worked with a number of

musicians, some very successful, who have all the tools to create

successful pop tracks but not the harmonic knowledge. [The software], as

a tool that can both fill that void and educate the user

as well, looks to me like a product that will meet a real need for

many musicians, and I heartily support its development.

Brian Bennett's software is a promising product for beginners or intermediate composers

to explore the vast flexibility of harmonic arrangement from a given melody...I would

highly recommend supporting the owner, for his new software.

...This is the kind of tool that's going to become an industry and educational standard.

It will fit into the primary schools and will be essential for college students to learn

theory and composition...

Brian has shown me his software and he has designed a phenomenal program for composers...

I believe that once Brian finishes this project we will have the best tool for

understanding how to compose. Please support him in any way you can.

...I have been involved professionally in the writing and design of computer software

for 29 years...I have for the past several years been assisting Brian with this project,

contributing programming, architecture, and best practices. I would like to address

some of the aspects of this product that make it ripe for completion...[the software] in

my opinion, is impressively above the norm for a product of its sophisitication...The

quality of the source code, its organization and its engineering documentation are

unusually high...but I must draw attention to one additional important point. The way

the user interacts with the program (the 'user interface') has benefitted from Brian's

experience as a professional musician and his knowledge of computer software; from my

contributions regarding best practices and 'human factors engineering' research; and from

an uncompromising dedication by Brian to ensuring that this aspect of composer is world

class...
